NYR Baby Shampoo and Baby Balm Review

A few weeks ago I told you about the NYR Organics Facial Care set I had been using, and how much I loved it. Today, I'm reviewing the baby shampoo/body wash and diaper balm.

I started using the shampoo/body wash on my little boy a few days ago. Before that, I just used whatever kid friendly (tear free) shampoo I was able to get with coupons. I love the super mild scent of the shampoo! It does take a little more work to get a good lather going, but there are no harsh chemicals, dies or scents being rubbed in my son's head. (That's a nice trade off to me!)

The baby balm has only been used twice. My son is on a gluten free diet, and if any gluten at all enters his system, he immediatly breaks out with a bad diaper rash. This happened last week, and I used the NYR balm instead of my Desitin, my regular choice. The balm did reduce the redness and seemed to cut down on the pain my son was experiencing. I don't think it worked quite as well as Desitin, but overall I was pleased with how the NYR balm worked, and it was nice to know it was all natural.

Later this week, we'll be giving away an identical set of NYR baby products. Stay tuned!

(Disclosure: I received the above mentioned products at no cost, but the opinions in this review are 100% my own.)
